Real Wisconsin Website Design was founded in 2007 by James “Jim” Murphy in Green Bay, Wisconsin. What started as helping friends and local nonprofits with effective, social-media-friendly websites has grown into a trusted veteran-owned business serving small businesses across Wisconsin.
Run from our home office in Allouez with my wife Sue, we remain a small, hands-on team focused on delivering real results — not flashy promises. As a Made in Wisconsin company and the only Wisconsin web design/SEO firm recommended by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), we take pride in craftsmanship and local roots.

#Meet Jim Murphy, Founder
Jim Murphy is a U.S. Army veteran (1967–1973) who served as an electronics specialist with the Army Security Agency. After his service, he brought that technical expertise into the civilian world, helping Wisconsin businesses thrive online for nearly two decades.
A longtime Green Bay area resident, Jim is also the webmaster for DAV-WI and remains active in the community. When he’s not building websites, you might find him working in his garden, riding his Harley, or creating video content.
